RANDALL'S BAKED CHICKEN | |
5 lbs chicken thighs or legs (with skin) 1/2 cup canola oil 1 tsp. salt (more or less to taste) 1 package powdered spaghetti sauce mix 1 package onion soup mix 1 1/2 cups flour Mix chicken, oil, and salt together in large container. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Mix all other ingredients in plastic bag. Take each piece of chicken and drop into bag and shake until fully covered. Place on pan with cookie cooling racks on them next to each other and bake at 375°F for 35 to 40 minutes. The cooling racks let all the pieces of chicken get brown and crispy. Best baked chicken in the world. Seems almost fried. Submitted by: Randall Cooks Note: Original recipe calls for 1 tablespoon of salt, but we used one teaspoon. |
