FRUIT COCKTAIL SQUARES 
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. oil
1 (16 oz.) undrained fruit cocktail
1/2 c. coconut
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs

Sift all dry ingredients together. Add eggs, oil and fruit cocktail. Mix and blend well.

GREASE a 9x13x2 inch pan and sprinkle with coconut and pour in batter.

Bake at 350 degrees about 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool slightly and frost with vanilla frosting. Cut into 3 inch squares. Makes 23 squares.
