"CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE" 
2 c. ordinary flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. oil
1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

ICING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts (if desired)
1 box powdered sugar
4 tbsp. buttermilk

Mix together flour, sugar and salt. Mix and bring to a boil; the oil, butter, cocoa and water. Add to dry ingredients (add while hot; the buttermilk, soda, vanilla and eggs.) Bake in 400 degree oven for 15 to 18 minutes in pan around the size of 10 x 15 inches. Ice immediately.

ICING: Bring to a boil the butter, cocoa and vanilla (add nuts, if desired) or add nuts as topping on the icing. Mix with powdered sugar and buttermilk. Freezes well!
