1 pkg. mincemeat, prepared according to directions or 1/2 jar mincemeat
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
3 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs. Sift flour, salt and soda together and add to mixture. Add vanilla, combine chopped nuts and mincemeat and add to mixture. Drop by teaspoonful on greased pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
