GEORGIA PECAN PIE 
3 eggs
3/4 c. dark corn syrup
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. melted butter
1 c. pecan halves
1 (9 inch) pie crust

Mix all ingredients, except pecans, adding butter last. Let stand 5 minutes. Spread pecans in bottom of pie shell. Pour filling over top of pecans. They will rise to top. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
