SWEET AND SOUR WINGS | |
12 chicken wings 1 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 c. cornstarch 1 egg, beaten 1/4 c. chicken broth Hot oil 1/4 c. catsup 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. vinegar 1 tsp. soy sauce 1 tsp. salt Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut tips from wings and boil for broth. Dip wing in egg, then in cornstarch to which the garlic powder has been added. Brown wings in hot oil. Make sauce with the rest of the ingredients. Place wings in pan in single layer. Pour sauce over. Bake 40 minutes in preheated oven. Yield: 2-3 servings. |
