GERMAN CHOCOLATE ICING | |
1 c. evaporated milk 3 egg yolks 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped pecans 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter 1 1/3 c. coconut Combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks that have been slightly beaten, butter, and vanilla in saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 12 minutes. Remove from heat; add chopped pecans and coconut. Cool to lukewarm beating occasionally. Spread on freshly baked German chocolate cake. Delicious! |
