CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE 
1 c. butter
1 c. water
1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. dairy sour cream
2 eggs
1 tbsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Melt butter in saucepan. Add water, bring to boil. Turn off flame. Stir in cocoa powder, cool. Sift together flour, sugar, soda and salt. Add to chocolate mixture, mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Mix well. Turn into greased and floured jelly roll pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 18 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven. Spread frosting over top.

FROSTING:

3 tbsp. shortening
3 (1 oz.) sqs. unsweetened chocolate
2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Combine shortening and chocolate in saucepan. Cook over low flame, stirring constantly, until melted. Stir in sugar, milk and vanilla, mix well. Add pecans and mix well. Frost cake.
