QUICKIE STICKIE BUNS 
3 1/2 c. flour (all purpose)
2 pkgs. dry yeast
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar

In large mixing bowl measure, 1 1/2 cups flour, add yeast to flour and mix. In medium pan put milk, water, butter, sugar, salt, stir on stove until warm. Pour in flour and yeast add 1 egg and beat 1/2 minute, scraping bowl at low speed. Then beat on high for 3 minutes. By hand gradually add remaining 1 1/2 cups flour and mix well. Scrape bowl down, cover and let rise until double in size. While dough is rising prepare topping. Drop by tablespoons into well greased muffin pan. Put 1 tablespoon topping in greased muffin pan first. Let rise until full (about 30 minutes). Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute then invert pan.

TOPPING:

3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. nuts
1 tbsp. water
1 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. corn syrup
1 tsp. cinnamon

Combine and cook over low heat until butter is melted.
