PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
1 yellow cake mix
4 bananas
1 can crushed pineapple
2 (8 oz.) cartons Cool Whip
2 pkgs. instant vanilla pudding, prepared according to pkg.
2 pkgs. frozen strawberries, thawed

Prepare cake as directed. Bake in 2 (8-inch) round cake pans. Place one cake in bottom of punch bowl. Pour half of vanilla pudding on top of cake. Slice 2 bananas; pour half can pineapple and 1 package strawberries on top of pudding. Spread one carton Cool Whip on top of fruit. Repeat layers and sprinkle pecans on top.
