CHOCOLATE CARAMEL CAKE 
1 chocolate cake mix
1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 c. butter
1 c. coarsely chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare cake mix as directed on box. Spread 2 cups of mix on bottom of 9 x 13 pan.

Bake 15 minutes.

On low heat, melt caramels, milk and butter together. Spread over baked cake. Spread other half of cake mix and sprinkle with nuts. Return to oven and bake 30 to 35 minutes or until cake springs back.
