REFRIGERATOR SLAW 
1 head cabbage
2 sliced onions
1 bell pepper
1 carrot
1 c. vinegar
3/4 c. salad oil
1 tbsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. turmeric

Cover grated cabbage with water and 1 tablespoon salt. Soak 1 hour and drain. Add other ingredients. Heat sauce to boil. Pour over slaw and store in refrigerator. Will keep several days in refrigerator.
