REFRIGERATOR THREE MONTHS SLAW 
2 or 3 lg. heads shredded cabbage
2 or 3 thinly sliced green peppers
1 c. sweet relish or chopped sweet pickles
1 lg. can or 2 med. cans of chopped tomatoes with juice
2 or 3 carrots, grated
1/2 tsp. red pepper or cayenne pepper
1 tbsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. celery seed

Chop cabbage and add peppers, carrots, sweet relish, chopped tomatoes with juice, salt and pepper and mix well. Put vinegar and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring continuously. Pour liquid mixture over the other ingredients and mix real good. Put slaw with juice into quart jars and keep refrigerated. Makes 1 gallon.
