PORK CHOPS AND LINGUINI
6 pork chops, cut about 3/4-inch thick
1 (16 oz.) pkg. linguini spaghetti
2 tbsp. salad oil
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. minced onion
1 sm. garlic clove, minced
1 1/4 c. catsup
1/2 c. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

About 1 hour and 45 minutes before serving, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare spaghetti as label directs; drain and place spaghetti in large roasting pan.

In large skillet over medium heat, in hot salad oil, brown pork cops well on both sides. Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper and arrange them on top of spaghetti.

In same skillet, in drippings, cook onion and garlic until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients and 1/3 cup water until blended; pour mixture evenly over pork chops. Bake covered 1 hour or until pork chops are tender. Makes 6 servings.
