MARINATED VEGETABLE SALAD 
1 can English peas, drained
1 (2 oz.) jar pimentos, drained
1 med. bell pepper, chopped
4 stalks celery, diced
1 can French style green beans, drained
1 sm. onion, coarsely chopped

Combine and put in bowl with lid. Combine the following ingredients in small boiler and heat to melt sugar and salt. Pour over vegetables and seal overnight.

1/2 c. cider vinegar
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp. water

This salad will keep a week.
