SCALLOPED CHICKEN 
1 lg. chicken
1 loaf day old bread
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Cooked cabbage (opt.)

Stew chicken, remove from bone (reserve broth), cut into small pieces. Toast bread lightly, cut into small pieces. Layer in dish then top with cream of mushroom soup. Pour broth over all. Bake in 300 degree oven 1 hour and 30 minutes until brown. Serves 8.
