CINNAMON OATIES
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 lg. egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. reg. rolled oats
3/4 c. dark seedless raisins

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Use steel cutting blade in food processor. Place butter, brown sugar, egg and vanilla in bowl of food processor and blend until smooth and creamy. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon to batter (don't need to combine ahead of time). Blend into batter until smooth.

Add rolled oats and blend with about half a dozen short (5 seconds) bursts until oats are finely chopped. You will still see small pieces but not the original large flakes. Dough will be fairly uniform in consistency. Turn dough out into mixing bowl and stir in raisins, distributing evenly. Spray a baking sheet with vegetable cooking spray and drop dough onto it, using about one round teaspoon for each cookie. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and cool on wire rack.
