HERSHEY CAKE 
2 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 c. hot water
3 1/2 tbsp. Hershey syrup
1/2 c. Crisco
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. buttermilk

Mix first 3 ingredients and set aside. Boil butter, hot water, Hershey syrup and Crisco for 1 minute. Pour over dry ingredients. Mix and add eggs, vanilla and buttermilk. Bake in a 9 x 13 inch pan, that has been greased and floured, at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

ICING:

1 stick butter
3 1/2 tbsp. Hershey syrup
1/2 c. milk

Boil for 1 minute. Pour over 1 box powdered sugar (sifted). Beat well. Add 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Pour over hot cake.
