CRANAPPLE CRUNCH 
3 c. sliced, peeled apples
2 c. cranberries, fresh or frozen
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. quick-cooking oats
1/2 c. unsifted flour
1/3 c. butter

Combine apples, cranberries, sugar, lemon juice and salt in bowl. Mix well. Turn into greased 8 inch square glass baking dish. Combine brown sugar, oats and flour in another bowl.

Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly, using a pastry blender. Sprinkle brown sugar mixture over fruit. Bake in 325 degree oven for 50 minutes or until fruit is tender. Cool 45 minutes to allow sauce to thicken before serving.
