CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
CAKE:

1 c. (2 sticks) butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. cocoa
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
1 box confectioners' sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar. Add 1 egg at a time, beating well. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add alternately with cocoa and milk. Bake in tube cake pan at 275 degrees for 2 hours and 15 minutes.
