LINDA'S VELVET PEAR SALAD 
1 lg. can Bartlett pears
1 pkg. lime Jello (3 oz.)
1 pkg. cream cheese (8 oz.)
1 carton whipped cream (reg. size)
Nuts & cherries (optional)

Drain pears. Heat 1 cup juice and dissolve 1 package of lime Jello. Mash pears. Use blender and blend Jello, pear juice and cream cheese. Pour into bowl and add the mashed pears, whipped cream, nuts and cherries. Congeal. Use a long glass dish. It is actually better the second day.
