CREAM CHEESE TORTE 
CRUST:

2 c. flour
1 c. butter (butter)
1/4 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. chopped nuts (opt.)

TORTE:

8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 pt. whipped topping
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

CRUST: Mix crust ingredients together. Pat into 9"x13" pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.

TORTE: Mix cheese and sugar with fork until creamy. Whip cream topping separately. Then whip cheese into cream. Pour into crust that has been cooled. Top with thickened pie filling; cherry or blueberry, 13 ounce can.
