SUGARED NUTS 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. liquid (see flavor variations)
1 tsp. corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. walnuts

In 2 quart saucepan, mix first 4 ingredients. Stir until creamy. Cook to soft ball stage (238 degrees). Add walnuts. Stir until creamy. Quickly turn out onto waxed paper. Separate with fork.

SPICED:

1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
5 tsp. cinnamon

ORANGE:

1/2 c. orange juice
1 1/2 tsp. orange rind
6 drops orange color

MINTS:

1/2 c. milk
4 drops red color
1 tsp. peppermint when put in walnuts

Combine ingredients.
