THICK AND CHEWY COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. granulated sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. (1 lb.) peanut butter
4 1/2 c. quick-cooking oats with 2 tsp. baking soda mixed in
1 c. M & M's
1 c. raisins
1 c. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with electric mixer until pale and fluffy. Beat in eggs, vanilla and peanut butter until well blended. Stir in oats mixture until stiff dough forms. Stir in M & M's, raisins and chocolate chips. Form balls of 1 inch size. Place 3 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. Flatten to 2 inch diameter. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet 5 minutes. Remove to rack. Makes 72 cookies.
