PRUNE CAKE 
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 lg. eggs
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
2 jars baby food, strained prunes with tapioca

Mix all ingredients and pour into a greased and floured 9"x13" pan. Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees, until a straw inserted in the middle comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool in the pan. While it is still warm, pour glaze over cake.

GLAZE:

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 tbsp. Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Bring above ingredients to foaming in a skillet.
