CLAMS LINGUINI 
1 lb. linguini, cooked to perfection
4 lg. garlic cloves
5 cans chopped Gorton clams
1/4 lbs. butter
1/3 bottle (small bottle) sweet vermouth optional
1 jar capers
Olive oil
Salt and pepper
Italian seasonings

Brown whole cloves of garlic in very little olive oil. Add 5 cans of chopped clams (I drain at least 2 cans). Add butter. Add Italian seasonings to cover whole top of pan. Add 1/3 bottle sweet vermouth (I rarely add this). Add jar of capers, well drained. Salt and pepper to taste. Simmer until linguini is ready.
