WHITE CLAM SAUCE | |
1/4 c. olive oil 2 garlic cloves, minced 4 tsp. all purpose flour 2 (8 oz. each) cans minced clams, drain and reserve juice 1 (10 oz.) can whole baby clams, drain and reserve juice 1/3 c. dry white wine 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes 1/4 tsp. salt 3 tbsp. chopped parsley 1 (16 oz.) pkg. linguini In medium saucepan heat oil. Add garlic and saute for 2 minutes. Stir in flour. Add reserved clam juices, wine, red pepper flakes and salt. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Add minced clams, baby clams and parsley. Return to a boil and remove from heat. Meanwhile, in large saucepan, cook linguini according to package directions; drain. Serve over linguini. |
