SUPPER WAFFLES 
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs, separated
1 c. melted butter or salad oil

Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together then add milk and vanilla and egg yolks to dry ingredients. Beat with electric mixer at high speed.

Beat egg whites until fluffy; set aside. Stir in slightly cooled melted butter or oil then fold in egg whites leaving little fluffs of egg whites showing in batter.

Pour batter from pitcher onto center of grid about 3 1/4 cups batter. Gently close lid at once, do not open during baking. Bake until steaming stops of signal light shows waffle is done. Loosen waffle with fork and lift it from grid.
