FETTUCINI ALFREDO ALA DRAGON | |
1 lb. fettuccine noodles 1 egg 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese 1 dash of salt 1 lb. skinned sausage 1/4 lb. butter, softened 1 pt. heavy cream (light cream can be substituted) 1 dash of pepper Boil water for noodles; meanwhile cook sausage and separate into small pieces, drain well. Cook noodles (as directed on package). Blend together egg and cream, add to sausage and simmer over medium low heat, stir in Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. This should thicken slightly, about 5 minutes. Drain noodles and add to sauce, simmering for another 5 minutes. Serves 4. |
