RUTH ANN'S GROUND BEEF CASSEROLE SUPREME | |
1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 med. onion, chopped 1 c. celery, chopped 1 sm. pkg. Stove Top stuffing mix 3/4 c. butter 1 1/3 c. hot water 1 (10 oz.) can cream of celery soup 1/4 c. water 1 c. or so shredded Cheddar cheese Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown ground beef with onion and celery in skillet. In a bowl, combine stuffing mix, butter and 1 1/3 cups water; mix well. In a 2-quart casserole, layer half of meat mixture, all the stuffing mix, and then remaining ground beef mixture. Dilute soup with 1/3 cup water and pour over casserole. Top with cheese and bake for 30 minutes. Serves 6. |
