FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE | |
1 1/2 c. sugar 2 tsp. baking soda 303 size can fruit cocktail (15-17 oz.), with juice 2 c. flour 2 eggs 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. chopped pecans Mix all ingredients together. Beat with mixer until well blended. Pour into greased and floured 9"x13" pan. Top with 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. BUTTER SAUCE TOPPING; 1 c. sugar 1 stick butter 1/2 c. canned milk or Milnot 1 tsp. vanilla |
