RHUBARB DUMPLINGS 
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. sliced rhubarb
Pinch salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. water

Combine in a saucepan and simmer until rhubarb is tender.

DUMPLINGS:

1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk

Combine to make dumpling dough. Drop dough be tablespoon on top of rhubarb. Cover tightly and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.

Can be served warm or cold.
