FRIED CHEESE 
1/2 lb. cheddar cheese
1/4 c. flour
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. soft bread crumbs
1/2 c. oil

Cut cheese into 2 1/2 x 1/2 inch stripe. Dip each in flour, then beaten egg, then bread crumbs. Fry in hot oil for 1 minute, turn and fry 1 more minute or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve with lemon wedged, if desired.
