STRAWBERRY BREAD | |
1 3/4 c. whole wheat flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. chopped pecans 1 (10 oz.) box frozen strawberries 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 c. oil 3/4 c. honey In a large bowl, stir together dry ingredients. Cream together, honey, eggs and oil. Stir into dry ingredients. Add strawberries all at once. Mix. Turn into a greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out on a rack. A nice moist and quick bread. From the Farmers' Almanac. |
