CINNAMON ROLLS
2 1/2 c. lukewarm water
2 pkg. quick rise yeast
1 box yellow cake mix
1 c. flour
3 eggs
1/3 c. oil
1 tsp. salt
About 4 1/2 c. flour
Soft butter
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 c. sugar
1 c. raisins and nuts

Dissolve yeast in water for about 3 minutes. Add cake mix, 1 cup flour, eggs, oil and salt. Beat with beater until bubbles appear. Add 4 to 4 1/2 cup flour slowly; add more if too sticky to work. This will be a very soft dough. Knead about 5 minutes.

Let rise until double. Roll out to about 1/2 inch after dividing dough into 2 parts. Spread with soft butter and add cinnamon-sugar plus raisins and nuts, if desired. Roll up as a jelly roll. Cut in half. Then cut into equal parts making 1 dozen rolls. Do other half of dough the same. Allow to rise until double in size. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes. Ice with powdered sugar icing.

Use 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar and 4 tablespoons milk for icing. Use two 9x13 inch pans and put 12 rolls in each.
