DRIED FRUIT PIE | |
4 c. water 3 c. assorted dried fruits 2 tbsp. soy oil butter 1/4 c. whole wheat flour 1 c. chopped nuts 1 partially baked whole wheat pie shell Bring water and fruit to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer until sauce is thick. Stir in butter and flour. Remove from heat, and stir in chopped nuts. Blend half of mixture at a time in a blender. Pour into a partially baked pie shell, and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. The pie looks like a dark molasses pie when done. |
