ELIAS BROTHERS FRUIT PIE 
9 inch baked pie crust
1 qt. clean sliced fruit (peaches, strawberries, etc.)
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1/2 c. water
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 sm. pkg. Jello (flavored to fruit)

Make paste with 1/2 cup water and cornstarch. Set aside. Boil sugar and 1 cup water add paste and cook until thick and clear. Remove from heat. Add Jello, stir well, when partially cool pour over fruit and place in pie shell. Top with whipped cream if desired.
