BAKED CARAMEL CORN 
1 c. butter (2 sticks)
2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. corn syrup
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
6 qts. popped corn

Melt butter. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat. Boil 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla. Pour over popped corn. Put mixture in two shallow pans.

Bake at 200°F for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
