SOUR CREAM PEANUT BUTTER
SANDWICHES

Butter
Bread (soft white)
Peanut butter (creamy Jiff) cold from refrigerator
Sour Cream (Knudsen)

Completely cover one side of white bread with butter, on one half spread cold peanut butter and on the other spread sour cream, the more evenly doled out the better. Fold the sour cream side into the peanut butter side, eat with milk.

Note: folding a single slice of bread is preferable to making two full slices and cutting as the cream tends to spill out so the fold helps keep it in.

Sour Cream Peanut Butter Sandwiches

 Phyllis (Virginia) says:
Try using mayonnaise instead of the sour cream. Would never have done this on my own... but years ago - noticed someone eating their lunch (sandwich). Could tell it was peanut butter but could not figure out what the white spread was... being nosy - I asked. When he told me mayonnaise and suggested I try it - (that I would always do this after trying it..) He was right. Amazing how unusual combinations often are really great!
