CHERRY DELIGHT COOKIES 
Mix:

1 c. Mazola butter
1/2 c. sugar

Stir in:

1/2 c. light corn syrup
2 egg yolks
2 1/2 c. flour

Chill dough and roll into 1 inch balls. Dip in slightly beaten egg white then into two cups finely chopped nuts. Place on greased baking sheet. Press candied cherry halves into center. Bake 20 minutes, 325 degrees. Makes four dozen cookies.

My question is the Cherry delight cookie recipe calls for Mazola Butter. I called the Mazola company since I can't find Mozola corn oil maragine and butter and they told me they no longer make it. What can I substitute it with and still have the same tate and texture of the cookie? I would appreciate any ideas that you would have.

Hi Donna,

There is a brand of margarine on the market that is made from olive oil, or you might try any other margarine for similar results.
