WELSH BREAD 
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. milk
3 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 pinch salt
1 c. chopped cherries

Beat eggs and sugar; set aside. Sift flour. Add baking powder, salt and walnuts and cherries to flour. Add milk and egg mix to flour alternately. Bake approximately 1 hour at 350 degrees.
