MICROWAVE SUGAR COOKIES
3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 2/3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Soften butter (15 seconds in microwave). Cream butter; gradually add sugar. Cream until fluffy; beat in eggs and vanilla. Toss flour, baking powder, and salt to mix; add to creamed mixture and combine well.

Chill dough 1 hour until firm. Roll out to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut in shapes. Arrange 8 cookies in a ring on waxed paper. Cook 2 minutes on HIGH. Yield 3-4 dozen.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.

Made this today! Took me half an hour as it was my first time baking. I replaced the flour and baking powder with self-rising flour. I also added chocolate chips and sprinkles. Came out really well :) Going to have it with ice cream! Will work a treat! X

I just did this and it turned out awesome. (I'm 12) The only things I didn't do was use baking powder and wax paper. I'm gonna give these to my mom when she comes home :)
P.S. I put sprinkles on right before I nuked them and it worked well.
Thankssssss! :)
