SALISBURY STEAK 
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg (beaten)
1/2 c. quick oats
2 tbsp. ketchup
2 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. dried onion
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 soup can of water

Combine ground beef, egg, oats, ketchup, water, sauce, onions, salt and pepper. Form into patties, patting in flour. Brown patties in butter in pan. Pour grease off.

Combine soup and soup can of water. Pour over patties. Simmer while covered for 45 minutes. Makes 5-6 steaks.

Note: Condensed cream of tomato or cream of celery soup may be substituted for cream of mushroom soup.
