STEAMED SHRIMP COCKTAIL 
SHRIMP:

5 lb. raw shrimp (in shell)
5 tbsp. Old Bay seasoning
1 oz. celery seed
2 tsp. paprika
2 cans beer (stale, flat is best)
1 tsp. salt
8 oz. vinegar
2 tsp. cayenne pepper (optional)

SAUCE:

1 c. catsup
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
1 tsp. brown sugar
1/4 c. horseradish (more or less to taste)

Shrimp: Put everything, except shrimp, into a large pot. Stir well. Bring to boil. Add shrimp, stir well. When it returns to boil cover and lower heat to simmer. Cook 5 minutes then turn off heat and stir quickly and replace lid. Let sit for 10 minutes then drain and chill well. Serve with sauce and crackers.

Sauce: Mix all ingredients well and serve.
