NAOMI'S STEAMED SHRIMP 
5 lb. lg. shrimp
2 tbsp. celery seed
1 bay leaf
1 stalk and leaves of celery
4 sprigs parsley
4 tbsp. prepared seafood mix, Old Bay
1 tbsp. dry mustard
2 tbsp. prepared mustard, French
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. red pepper
2 c. vinegar
3 c. water
1 bottle beer
2 tbsp. mustard seed

1. Mix together and heat everything for a few minutes.

2. Add shrimp and boil for 12 minutes or until done, until they peel easily.

3. Serve on flat pan. Cover with mixture.

4. Serve hot or cold with cocktail sauce and Saltines.

This recipe for Naomi's steamed shrimp is my mother's recipe. The mixture is to be mixed with the raw shrimp, then placed in steamer containing the vinegar, water and beer. (Not Boiled)! Steam for 12 minutes until done (peels easily). Place steamed shrimp in a flat layer cake pan and pour some of the steaming liquid on them. We used this recipe on our bar. (Thanks..."Fitz")
