QUICK BUTTERY CARAMEL CORN
CRUNCHY POPCORN
 
3 qts. popped popcorn
1 1/3 c. peanuts
1 1/3 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix popcorn and peanuts together in large slightly buttered bowl. Set aside. Boil sugar, butter, and syrup, stirring constantly, approximately 15 minutes or until turns a light caramel color. Remove from heat, add vanilla. Pour over popcorn and nuts, mix with a large spoon.

Toss with buttered hands as popcorn cools to prevent clumps, or spread on waxed paper, cool, break apart. Store in airtight container.
