BUTTERY CARAMEL COATED POPCORN 
Popcorn (12-15 c.), popped
1 1/3 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. light Karo corn syrup

Make your own popcorn and sift out unpopped kernels. This is 2 batches in a popcorn popper; put in a large roasting pan. Mix sugar, butter and vanilla and corn syrup in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium/high heat and cook until golden yellow (12 minutes) mixing regularly. Pour over popcorn and mix well to coat. Put in 350 degree oven for 7 to 10 minutes. Take out, mix again and cool.
