CARAMEL POPCORN 
2 qts. popped corn
1/3 c. butter
2/3 c. packed brown sugar
1/3 c. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Melt butter; add sugar and corn syrup. Cook to 280 degrees or soft crack stage. Stir in vanilla and baking soda. Stir in popcorn, mixing well. Put on low heat and stir to coat popcorn evenly. Put in waxed paper lined tray. Cook and break apart. Store in airtight container.
