FRESH APPLE CAKE 
3 c. self-rising flour
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
3 c. chopped apples
1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
1 c. nuts
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar, eggs and Wesson oil. Add flour and vanilla. Add apples and nuts last.

ICING FOR CAKE:

1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 c. milk

Bring to a boil, while still warm pour over the cake. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
