JEWISH APPLE CAKE 
2 tsp. cinnamon
5 tbsp. sugar
8 apples, sliced thin

Mix well and let stand while making batter.

BATTER:

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
3 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Juice of 1 orange or 1/4 c. frozen juice

Mix all in bowl. Beat 5 minutes. Batter will be very thick. Grease and flour 10 inch tube pan. Place layer of batter and layer of apples. Repeat ending with batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Very good!
